Dad's Brown Sugar Carrots

2 lbs carrots, peeled and split in half lengthwise
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp Dijon mustard
1/4 cup brown sugar

Boil the carrots until they are tender. Take the butter and melt in a frying pan. Add the Dijon mustard and the brown sugar. Cook until it becomes a syrup and then add the carrots. Saut̩ in the syrup for about 5 Р10 minutes. Serve with chop parsley. Boy was it ever good

Hi Phaedra,

I just made these tonight and please thank your poppa for me! They were super yummy ... loved the mustard/sweet action. I used the aioli french mustard from Trader Joe's and it worked out great.
