Peach Butterscotch Crisp

My g'ma loved to cook. When I found her recipe cards, it was just like I had found a treasure chest.

1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ cup margarine
1 cup sifted flour
1/8 tsp nutmeg
2 cups chopped peaches

Mix ingredients together thoroughly. Butter 9-inch pan. Put in peaches. Spread crumb mixture over top. Bake at 350 degrees for about 10 – 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 325 and bake until fruit is soft and crumb mixture is nicely browned. About 25-30 minutes.
